Yes, maybe I'm on the right track with this one....at least until I try to add something else in which case the entire thing could very well still be fodder for the trash heap!
At this point it's been quilted and next 'up' will be
adding the borders and then the embroidery.
Jury is still out on what I might, or might not, add
to the church.
to the church.
The next two photos are the view from our balcony the other day just before the sun set.
Those skies look rather forbidding, don't they!
Today's quote..."Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy"
I like how the church is coming out. And your photos show the beautiful contrast that I love about fall. There are certain times of the year when the lighthing is just right and the colors just sing. Just like a certain time of day when the light filtering in makes me love our home more.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the light in the early evening is beautiful this time of year. Just wish I had a better camera to capture it better.
DeleteI really like the way the church is coming along. Looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thanks Jackie - I think I'm happy with it, at least for now.
DeleteHonored you're featuring my tutorial! Anxious to see how the church scene turns out.
ReplyDeleteI was happy to show your tutorial - it's a good one!
DeleteI love how this is coming along Mary Anne and I am looking forward to seeing more additions! Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine! I'm looking forward to seeing what I end up doing too. It's an evolutionary process for sure.
