I'm back to working on the 'ghostly' landscape and adding to the embroidery in the foreground....
Today's quote..."I've finally reached the wonder years....wonder where I parked the car?....wonder where I left my phone?....wonder where my glasses are?....wonder what day it is?
I absolutely have to make some of those googly eye figures. They're just too good!
ReplyDeleteYour landscape is coming along lovely, too.
I was actually thinking of you when I posted that link - thought you might get a kick out of it!
DeleteI enjoyed the metal art and I can relate to the quote, for sure.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the metal work - I haven't a clue how it's done, but I do like the end result!
DeleteYour landscape is really looking good...nice additions. I have to "wonder" too...;)))
ReplyDeletehugs, Julierose
I'm either wondering or living in the 'here after' most of the time.
DeleteYour stitching is so beautiful. I loved seeing Michelle's stockings on your post. I must brag that she and her daughter visited me one time-in person! We live in the same state. She gifted me with wonderful vintage yo-yo's, watercolors, very old paper and ephemera. We had a wonderful gab and a nice time of getting to know each other a little in person-a nice thing to see someone you have blogged with in person!
ReplyDeleteI must admit I admire Michelle's work from afar most of the time - she does such amazing things. I once won a little bear she did on fabric and it's one of my treasures. Lucky you to be able to get together!
DeleteHehe.....that quote is fabulous! Loving the addition of those bright and happy sunflowers to your landscape. Oh my, those sculptures; sublime! LOVE the horse. I can only shake my head and wonder, how on earth did he do that!!
ReplyDeleteThe horse certainly caught my eye too - one of those things I would love to see in person. Or, even better, see him creating it!
DeleteLove to see the needlework magic you do. Those stockings are pretty and I've added them to my files.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lorraine. I have fun with what I do so I guess I'm happy in my own little world.
Delete"Ghostly" or not, I love your stitches on this one! You do, as Lorraine said above, work magic when you pick up a needle.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm having fun with the embroidery (good thing, because it's taking forever!)
DeleteBeautiful stitching on your landscape Mary Anne. I'm hoping to add some hand embroidery to one of my projects this weekend. It's trying to snow here so a good weekend for stitching in the warm!! Love those little stick guys.... just too cute! Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine - embroidery while it's snowing outside sounds perfect. Well, at least the embroidery part of it does!
DeleteYour landscape is coming along nicely. I love the links that you add to your posts. Such interesting things.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Glad you enjoy the links! I have fun searching them out so happy you like them.
