A hive of industriousness!

 A hive of industry?

Really?

Well, as the picture below will attest...

What?  You don't see a picture?
Really???

Hmmmm.....

Could that possibly be because
my mojo is on hiatus?

Yes, for some reason my creative mojo is refusing to mojo.  I'm flitting from one thing to another and not coming to roost on anything.  Even I'm bored with myself!

Bored enough that I'm contemplating hauling out the Christmas decorations - a full two weeks earlier than I would normally even start thinking about it.

I'm sure you wish I would get off my duff and start actually doing something that would even remotely prove to be interesting.

  1. You realize anyone that might see your mojo flying by their window, might also be without mojo to chase it down. Sorry. If it does fly by, and I doubt it will because mojos on the run gathering with their peers can take days, then I will open the window to tell it to go home.
The turkey project is cute. I'm thinking a sled dragging tree motif will be nice. The vintage linens' quilt is gorgeous.
    Have a Happy Weekend!

    1. I don't suppose my mojo moves very fast so it should be easily caught. And yes, if you see it, please send it home!
I wish I had found that fun turkey project sooner because I guess it's a little late for this year. And yes, I'm with you in thinking that quilt is gorgeous. I, however, will not be making one - not after all the angst over the one I AM doing!

  2. Decorating for Christmas sounds like a perfect use of your mojo-less time. You can even take some pictures! :) And I've got say... that knitted koala is just about the cutest thing I've seen. Awwwww

    1. Considering I'm not a fan of the whole decorating process I guess being mojo-less at the same time sort of fits, doesn't it. And I agree that koala is pretty cute.

  4. I don't think your Mojo is lost or anxious to leave- it's just giving you a well deserved rest, while gathering lots of ideas from around the globe to bring home to you. It Did leave you your sense of humour so it's not a mean Mojo.
I enjoyed all the links and saved a couple of your offerings today.

    1. Well I do hope they're playing nicely together! We did our decorating yesterday - always happy to have it done (and the mess cleaned up afterwards!).

  7. You're contemplating decorating for Christmas? Things are getting serious! I've become my Mother and want to hang a wreath for Christmas and be done with it!

    1. Oh I hear you Vicki - I feel the same way! If it were up to me I'd probably only put out the nativity scene and be done too, but Resident Chef likes a tree.

  8. Mummed mojo is the pits sometimes, but maybe just our body telling us it needs a break? You've done a tremendous amount of work the past few months.

    1. You're right I'm sure - doing too much and now the letdown once the Christmas creative rush is over is no doubt the cause. This too shall pass!

  9. Pretty much how I'm feeling these days also -- I look at stuff, but can't get myself started on anything. Haven't felt compelled to start Christmas decor yet this weekend though ... maybe next week :)

    1. Oh I can putz with the best of them! Although, to be truthful, I did finish a crochet project last night (and will show it this week on my blog at some point). And the decorating is done so I guess I have accomplished something.
