A bit of progress

There has been a bit done on the newest landscape as you can see from this photo...

- Should have posted THIS in my previous post (to go along with the Lego blanket!).

- You would have to use the translate feature for THIS one - but I don't see why any doily pattern would work.  Such a pretty way to protect your dishes!

- I know I've shown you something similar to THIS before, but I like the non-traditional use of fabrics this time.

- There's a nice cross stitch butterfly pattern HERE.

Today's quote..."In the rhythm of the needles there is music for the soul"

  1. The truck is coming along well, nice work. The quilted coaster link...thank you! It is always nice to have another scrap fabric project.

    1. I've seen those coasters done using green or fall-like fabrics, but never in the florals as were shown this time. Interesting take! You should see the vehicle now - it's changed a lot!!

  2. I saw a photograph of an old Ford pickup abandoned in a huge field in Saskatchewan and I immediately thought of you :)

    2. I may not have phrased that very well!! I meant it made me think of the pictures you are inspired by for your fabulous fabric landscapes :)

    1. I'm quite happy with the old car (which has changed a lot since this picture). Today I'm quilting the grass so it's getting there.

    1. Oh, but don't we enjoy having a to-do list that's a mile long? I get one thing crossed of mine and add three more, so obviously I'm never going to get anywhere.

    1. Considering they're all-consuming with me at the moment, there isn't much else I CAN show!
