Hopefully you can see a bit of what I've added to the landscape over the past few days. Still more to go!
- There's a lovely new stitch-along starting HERE. Looks like it will be tons of fun!
- It's strawberry season here and I came across THIS crocheted version.
- Have a look at the amazing fibre art done by THIS artist!
- If you have a little one to knit for, there's a ton of great patterns available HERE.
Today's quote..."One small crack does not mean that you are broken. It means that you were put to the test and you didn't fall apart"
Wow, it's looking great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen! So far I'm happy with it, but there's always the chance of flubbing it up at the last minute.
DeleteLooking very impressive!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy - I'm enjoying this one.
DeleteThe trees are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to Vintage Kitchen stitch along, looks fun, cute designs.
You're welcome! I thought the stitch along looked like fun, even though it's not my style.
DeleteThe tall grass around the car is perfect! Wonderful links you have shared. Excellent Quote Dear.
ReplyDeleteThe grass helps to blend the car in a little more (and it's in the original picture so thought I'd copy it).
DeleteOooh... indeed! That looks very different. And very impressive. All the details you've put on the ground/fields is terrific.
ReplyDeleteStill a ways to go Becki - I'm not happy with a couple of the shrubs so they're evolving...who knows, they might just 'volve right on outta there!!
DeleteGosh, your landscape is looking fabulous. That car is great, isn't it. Oh my, I looked at the animals stitched by the fibre artist.....unbelievable really.
ReplyDeleteI love the old car and am happy it looks more or less like the original. I think there will be more cars and trucks in my future landscapes, provided I can find good source pictures that are copyright free. I'd love to do an old tractor too!
