Behind the scenes

Behind the scenes whilst the 'Grande Look Back' was taking place, I actually have been working on something.  And I'd be willing to bet you already know what!!

Yes, a barn.

I've been commissioned to make two and this is one of the photos my client chose for me to attempt to recreate.

Here you can see the rough beginnings...

  1. I think I have seen a barn or two that looks just like the one you are replicating. So far So good!

  2. The barn looks beautiful, my friend! I am truly amazed at how you can create something to look so life-like.

And yes, that flannel tote bag is ever so cute! What a clever idea. Hugs to you!

  3. The thread holder certainly beats my tin box downstairs and the other one two floors up. I seem unable to introduce them!

  4. Your barn duplicate is right on point from foundation up, but the roof did catch my eye first. I certainly like that shirt badge idea you found.

  5. Lovely to see a new barn in the making. Now to begin enjoying the rest of the picture as it evolves.

  8. I was hoping you were working behind the scenes on your next barn picture. And I'm not disappointed. The stone foundation! That actually looks like real stone!

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
