NEVER let it be said that this blog hesitates to go where most would fear to go. Maybe this one is over the top, even for the writer here at Chez Magpie. Who knows, maybe this time it might be enough to put this blog on the 'red flag' list. So....at the risk of offending anyone's sensibilities....please be forewarned.
The following is an x-rated picture of
Jack's balls.
Yes, they're hanging over the shower rod in the bathroom,
drip drying.
Jack is a wonder - not only does he have more than
the usual allotment, but they're detachable and
also come in multiple colors!
Get 'yer minds outta the gutter people - did you REALLY think you'd see what you thought you'd see?? Seriously? These are DRYER balls - or will be, once they've finished drying after felting. My long-suffering husband patiently rolled wool yarn into balls, boiled them and then felted them....all because we wanted to test to see if all the hype about using these in the dryer instead of dryer sheets is true.
Of course this writer has a warped sense of humor
and simply HAD to share.
Your quote..."Give, but don't allow yourself to be used. Love, but don't allow your heart to be abused. Trust, but don't be naive. Listen, but don't lose your own voice"
Oh ddddear dear!!!! Poor Jack! LOL Janeel made me some for Christmas one year. To tell you the truth I wasn't that inspired by them. Maybe I was using them incorrectly!! LOL

Well, I think it's great your hubby decided to work on his balls. Anxious to hear how well his balls work.
ReplyDeleteToo, too funny! I did wonder where this story was going....knowing full well your wonderful sense of humour and wit! I am so glad Jack's balls got sorted. A bit of a scientist is your Jack.
ReplyDeleteGood old Jack! I see you are keeping him busy! Now do tell - do they work!! This is the most important question. They do look so funny hanging up in the shower!
ReplyDeleteLOL! So now we need to know if they really work...???!!! xx
ReplyDeletethanks for that Halloween link...Glad your hubs finally boiled his balls, lol.

I finally stopped laughing long enough to wipe the tears from my eyes so I could see to write a comment. I must say, Jack has some beautifully formed balls! I'm curious to read about the experiment after he gets done playing with them. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteFirst test run will be when we do our laundry next week so I will certainly be doing a review of Jack's balls afterwards. We have had SO much fun laughing over these things but it remains to be seen if they really do work.
DeleteOh yes, they work! I have four that have been in use for several years now....no static in clothes, no need for softener unless I want that perfumey smell. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou and Jack have quite the sense of humor! At least his Blue Balls are quite Royal. I do think they will work wonderfully. Fun links as always. Another excellent quote dear. Thank you for always sharing your time and information with us challenged persons...ME. <3
