Stir, stir, bake....awwwww......

Over the weekend DH made these...

AND...
this appeared in my sewing room...

Do you suppose this means that after
38 years he still loves me?

Your quote today is another one from an anonymous source..."When a child gives you a gift, even if it is a rock they just picked up, exude gratitude.  It might be the only thing they have to give, and they have chosen to give it to you"

  2. Those cookies could be baked with a hole in to insert a ribbon for an ornament, edible. Two birds, one cookie...

  4. Yep, I'd say he still loves you - how sweet! SO many cute crafts that I bookmarked from this post! I love those pin cushions and the Christmas tree cross stitch pattern and, well, I can't remember what all I marked! Lots of great ideas!!

  5. Your husband is quite the romantic. I adore Chris Mouse. So many wonderful ideas for our limited holiday time. What a great quote and message to lift a child’s or anyone’s self esteem. Merry Christmas Bliss...xo

  10. How lovely that your husband is still surprising you with treats :)
I'll be interested to hear what you think of tiny sock circs. I tried a 9" needle to see if it would be easier for arthritic hands, but didn't find it as comfortable as DPNs. But I would have tried it at least one more time had it not disappeared! May be just a matter of what you are used to. And honestly, I love my little DPNs :) So please report back!
Thanks for sticking with Comptonia during the recent Laptop Rehab Blackout...I'm trying to get caught up on reading all my favorite blogs, and yours is right up there :)

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
