Today I have something a little different to show you mostly because I've been working on something that I will be able to show you tomorrow. In the meantime.....
The pattern was one I found in one of my how to knit books - mostly stockinette stitch with some yarn over 'holes' to add interest. The yarn was a gift from my #2 son and daughter-in-love and is soooo soft and luxurious!
- HERE's a sweet little crocheted dress for a toddler. And another HERE. And HERE. (I think you will need to join the site in order to get that one, but membership is free).
- If you'd like to make a sweet stuffed toy for a little one (or for yourself for that matter!) how about THIS?
- There's an interesting tutorial HERE for creating a makeup bag, but what caught my eye was the part of it that tells you how to create a perfect oval.
- THESE fall under the title of just plain wow!!
Today your quote is from William Young..."Don't ever discount the wonder of your tears. Sometimes they are the best words the heart can speak"
That's a beautiful scarf with a lacey look.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the project tips.
Simply beautiful, my friend. And oh yes, it looks incredibly soft!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
What a beautiful scarf.... such a lovely pattern and so delicate in that beautiful yarn! Wonderful quote too! Christine x
ReplyDeleteThat yarn does look very soft and drapy ( hmm....is that a word...probably not) Love the colour.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely scarf, Mary Anne. The wool looks so light and soft.
ReplyDeleteThe scarve is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour scarf looks very light and pretty! I once made a similar scarf of cashmere. Yarn-overs are like magic :)
