Seems I'm back to seams

I'm back to working on the final block for the courtship series and here are a few more seam treatments from that one...

This one is done entirely with straight stitches, with the addition of beads (or you could use French Knots).

Straight stitches (black); lazy daisies (green); silk ribbon flowers (red); and rice beads (blue).

As always, please feel free to use any of my designs in your own work.  I would love to see what you do with them!

Today your quote is from an unknown source..."Good things come to those who believe; better things come to those who are patient and the best things come to those who don't give up"

  1. Beautiful seam treatments, Mary Ann, and that baby sweater is so adorable, especially on that
    darling child!
Good quote too, thanks for sharing.

  2. Lovely seam treatments. How quickly you have worked into your seventh block. Great links and I always enjoy viewing them even if I am not going to actually make them. Fun quote today.

  3. Pretty! I like it when you use beads.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
