First of all, thank you to those who were kind enough to identify the mystery sewing machine foot from my previous post. It's apparently a blind hem foot and I still have no clue where it came from or why I even have it!
Today is the reveal of Block 7 of the courtship series...
Here are some close-ups...
The eagle-eyed among you might see a hint of how I finished the blocks, but you'll have to wait until Monday for the full reveal!
Today your quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson...."You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late"
Wow, some amazing and powerful quilts in Threads of Resistance. I hope everyone is brave enough to see the work of these artists!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful block and I can't wait for the big reveal on Monday! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Christine x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful block - will look forward to the reveal! Wow! Some very interesting creative stuff in Thread of Resistance!
ReplyDeleteLove your block! Loads of great seams love the butterfly. Thanks for the resist!
ReplyDeleteWill not miss the reveal. I was under the impression this would be the finished quilt, how can that be with 7 blocks.
ReplyDeleteBlock 7 is as equally beautful as each of the 6 before it. Your quilt is going to be stunning. Interesting links as always. Excellent quote and one I shall try to do.
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching as always. Thanks for the mention above. Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI will expect to see lots of blind hems in your work from now on....
