Alas...

It seems the promised rain has gone all around us and there will be none here, unless there happens to be a major miracle.  The heat and humidity continues.....

Not much being accomplished on the stitching front although I am managing to get a little bit done on the next 'secret' project for the magazine (which also happens to be for a Christmas present).

Today your quote is from Walter Winchell - "It's a sure sign of summer if the chair gets up when you do"

  2. Yesterday the sky suddenly grew dark just as I was starting evening chores, and there was thunder rolling loud and close as I was picking up empty goat buckets. I was so excited! A few drops fell as I was making my way back to the house, and...
    that was about it. :(

  6. Oh I do wish you rain and cooler temps. Those "free-form" crocheted bears are crazy cool. You always share the very best links dear. Thank you.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
