Hearts and zentangles

The mail yesterday brought the heart I received in the heart swap I was in....

 Isn't it gorgeous?
The image in the centre is lovely and DeeDee has
highlighted it with a beautiful vintage crystal button
and also a pearl necklace with matching earrings.

Here's a close-up of the flowers....

Thank you so much DeeDee - I love it.
And a huge thanks must go to
Debbie Hembree for organizing the swap!

Yesterday was our monthly CQTeers meeting and
our theme
(beyond eating chocolate, of course)
was zentangles...

The top two atcs were done by
Irene (our resident zentangle guru).
Sue did the one on the lower left
and mine is on the lower right.
Another fun day!

  1. Wow that is a nice heart you got! The detail on the flowers is wonderful---back in the stone-ages I knew how to do those. Couldn't do one now if I had to.
Did you you enjoy the zentangles? I have not had time to work with mine for a while...they're waiting, just like everything else! ;-)

  2. Lovely heart. Love the zentangles too and these have inspired me to learn how. Must take time.

  3. I was so glad to see you recieved my heart... I loved her lots and put lots of love into her...I must say I equally love your Zentagles... I do this too...

I have had so much fun searching your blog... please I hope we can remain freinds.. we have so many similar interests....

Your heart is very nice, your right the center print of the woman is lovely!! it turned out so nice. I am sure you will treasure it for a long time:)

Wow your drawing is so good. So once you draw them are they used for something?

  5. you always get such lovely mail....don't they have bills in Canada????

  6. Hi MA, rat tail cord? (I almost never go to a retail fabric store) would that be a ridged cotton?

  7. Beautiful heart! I'm sure if she got yours that she is excited as well. Your zentangle is great also. Is is done with pen and ink? Wouldn't it be fun to do a piece of fabric and incorporate it into a quilt! Hmm.

  8. Your swap heart is absolutely gorgeous MA - what a beautiful gift! Love the zentangle ATCs too - such a small space for such beautiful designs.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
