Part 3 of ABC book & '54 Fashions
I hope you're enjoying this series! I promise I will insert some pictures of what I'm working on currently later in the week.
Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
How great to see these 50s fashions. I played for hours with paper dolls cut from pattern books in the 50s by my cousin. They really take me back.
ReplyDeleteHow come I don't have a waist like that?
ReplyDeleteThis is a terrific way to keep us all in suspenders about what you're working on right now. And i can see an 'M', what fun. K.
ReplyDeleteI love those fashion pages. Batwing sleeves were all the rage back then.
ReplyDeleteI need a girdle to get back into my retro dresses!
ReplyDeleteA heavy-duty one too......
These pics are so cool; thanks for posting them!
XXOO!!

I agree with all the comments. Batwing sleeves were all the rage then. The fabric description is interesting too (stiff and hard on the hands).
