Part 3 of ABC book & '54 Fashions

I hope you're enjoying this series! I promise I will insert some pictures of what I'm working on currently later in the week.

  1. How great to see these 50s fashions. I played for hours with paper dolls cut from pattern books in the 50s by my cousin. They really take me back.

  2. How come I don't have a waist like that?

  3. This is a terrific way to keep us all in suspenders about what you're working on right now. And i can see an 'M', what fun. K.

  4. I love those fashion pages. Batwing sleeves were all the rage back then.

  5. I need a girdle to get back into my retro dresses!
    A heavy-duty one too......
These pics are so cool; thanks for posting them!

  6. I agree with all the comments. Batwing sleeves were all the rage then. The fabric description is interesting too (stiff and hard on the hands).

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
