Nice quotation! And the hexie purse is a great idea. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was thinking hmmmm too!
DeleteBeautiful quilts!
ReplyDeleteThere were so many amazing ones to choose from.
DeleteI love them all, the Canadian one looks so regal! The quote and illustration are lovely! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying the 'show'! It was certainly great to see them all in person.
DeleteThe first one is impressive!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly caught my eye! I used to do bargello needlepoint many years ago and now they're using the same design ideas for quilts.
DeleteHello MA: I hope the fires are nowhere near you and they are put out soon, such a shame that they are burning, we had fires here in Minnesota not so long ago.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt show thank-you.
Catherine
Thank you Catherine - we're fine here, with the exception of bad air quality due to the smoke from the fires. It's not even officially summer yet so it looks like we're in for a bad year.
DeleteAren't these quilts amazing! To think I'm pleased I managed a string block! Thanks for sharing and the links. I just have to check out embroideries.
ReplyDeleteI'd be pleased if I could manage a string block too!
DeleteThe Ribbons of Green Bargello is very eye catching.
ReplyDeleteIt was even more so in real life!
DeleteAmazing quilts, especially the green bargello. Shared Memories is so cute, and of course I love the Scrappy Star quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe bargello was one of my favourites too.
DeleteEach of those quilts is wonderful, but that first one is WOWZERS! The creativity of quilting artists blows me away.
ReplyDeleteI love bargello so of course that one caught my eye. I don't think I'd ever be able to make it though.
DeleteI'm enjoying this virtual quilt show so much!! So many beautiful quilts... it would be so hard to judge! xx
ReplyDeleteYes, it certainly was hard to vote on the one I thought was Best in Show because there were too many vying for the title. Glad you're enjoying the show!
