We got back late last night and jet lag is still a 'thing' so I'm afraid there isn't much to share with you today. Thank you for all your lovely comments wishing us a good holiday and yes, it was indeed that. Spending time with 3 busy little ones was tiring for us 'oldies' but we wouldn't trade it for anything. Coming home was both sad because we don't know when we'll see them again, and happy to return to our peaceful lives.
Regular programming will hopefully return on Friday.
I totally "get" what you mean about the "little ones"--so much energy and activity for us olde folks ;))) Welcome back

Yes, the energy level from little ones tends to be exhausting!
DeleteI'm glad you're safe home, also quiet...
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to be home, although we miss our family and it's hard to leave them.
DeleteSo glad you had a wonderful (but I imagine exhausting!) time and that you got back safely. Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteWe did have a great time and now find it hard to get back into our normal routine. Don't think jet lag has hit us this much on any of our other trips (could that be because we're getting older?!!!!)
DeleteSherry of createology: Welcome home Dear! Yes, you were missed. Everyday I would click on your blog and realize you were still visiting family. So happy to hear you had a great trip and lots of time snuggling and enjoying your family! Rest and Recharge!
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful time and came home with mixed feelings - that of missing our family and wondering when we'll see them again, and also a sense of relief to be home to our quiet lives.
DeleteSo glad you made it home safely.
ReplyDeleteUs too!
DeleteWelcome back! :)
