Um,mmmmmm......

Yawn.  Even I'm bored with me today.  Nothing to show you - nothing has happened that's saga worthy....even my soapbox is in need of a good polishing.  What's this world coming to?  My mind has been occupied with coming up with the baby quilt I have in mind but unfortunately modern technology hasn't advanced as far as being able to show inside-the-brain pictures.

- Some of you, at least the sane quilters, might find this chart useful....

Today's quote is from Brianna Wiest...."One day, the mountain that is in front of you will be so far behind you, it will barely be visible in the distance.  But the person you become in learning to get over it? That will stay with you forever.  And that is the point of the mountain"

    1. The quilt is in my mind and now just have to translate it into fact. It's going to be very simple because that's the way I roll when it comes to quilting.

    1. The quilt is going to be done on the K.I.S.S. principle because that's the only ones I know how to make!

    1. I had flirted with using the chart for making 9 patches but have opted for something even simpler. The apples are definitely cute and I think they'd be cute on a Christmas tree too.

  5. I've no doubt you will come up with something both simple and beautiful. You never disappoint. I am in awe of those stitched landscapes- for both beauty and dedication to the amount of stitches needed. Good quote.

    1. If I had young kids still at home I'd be making those specimen jars for sure!

    1. A little boredom is a good thing, but I don't like making a habit of it.

  9. You really do find the most interesting and varied links. The fabric landscapes are lovely as well as the amazing embroidered landscapes. I know how much work and time go into projects like these. Whew! I feel like I am still climbing that Mount Everest mountain. I am wondering what I will become when I grow up…except I much prefer keeping my child-like wonder alive and active. Enjoying Autumn.

    1. Glad to enjoy the links! I have fun searching for them and go down probably altogether too many rabbit holes during the search.
