All my cutting and measuring has resulted in this....
Horrible photo, but it's dull outside and NOT great for pictures I'm afraid.
Which will be turned into several 'somethings', but that will be revealed once they are. There was some cobbling together too but I'm calling that design elements.
AND.....there's a finish! Those partially completed socks I showed you last time are off the needles and another pair has been started...
Today's quote...
I shall be looking forward to see what becomes of those cut pieces of fabric. Your knitted socks are beautiful. I had not seen this poem before and I am in complete love with it. I have learned to love my body with all its flaws and extra chubbiness yet hubby is not a fan. After all I have lived through I am so grateful for the way God created me. Blessings Dear.
ReplyDeleteI think more people (and not just women) should have that poem on their bathroom mirror. Loving ourselves as we are is so important.
DeleteThat quotation is a keeper!!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is! One that needs to be paid attention to every day.
DeleteHow exciting.... a new project and I am looking forward to seeing what all those strips become! Love the socks and I really appreciated the poem! Hope you are having a lovely weekend! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteYes, a new project (actually several) and, I think....just maybe....perhaps.....the last of the Christmas gifts for this year? Jury is always out on that plan though so who knows if something else might come along to catch my eye.
DeleteThat little bird pincushion is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd have the heart to stick pins into it!
DeleteLove the quote. And so do all my soft and round places. ;^)
ReplyDeleteWe should all learn to like ourselves more and that quote is a good reminder of that.
