.....and, another advent is underway! This one is using all the colours in that pile of threads I showed you last time (with a few more added, of course). I will be using the same ornaments (ie. there will be a snowman, a Christmas pudding, etc.) but the cross stitching will be different from the ones I've used already. I want the calendars to be the same in construction but different in ornaments....sort of. If that makes any sense whatsoever?
So.....here are the first two (not blocked yet....sorry!)....
Todays quote - "Sitting alone is better than walking with the wrong people"
The softer muted colors are perfect! Third time's charm so this one should be oh-so-special. I am injoying my little needle book and magazine! What fun to have a bit of your studio beside me here! Thank you Mary Anne!
ReplyDeleteI think these colours will be suited for a little girl - at least I hope so.
DeleteGlad you're enjoying your giveaway win!!!
Really nice Advent x-stitcheries...those calendars will be lovely hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteThese little stitcheries are such fun to create - none of them take a whole lot of time so that's an advantage.
DeleteYou are so tirelessly productive! She'll love these. What lucky kids they all are.
ReplyDeleteI can't be there to play with my grandkids in person unfortunately so I make them things instead. They will grow out of liking homemade things soon enough so I'm getting my fun in while I can.
DeleteWonderful new Tags for the little one. Enjoyable links too - such a lot creative people about. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly fun to be working on something for a little girl for a change. And you're so right - there ARE a lot of wonderfully creative people out there.
DeleteThey are beautiful Mary Anne! A great start to the calendar. Have a lovely weekend! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteI could be working on other projects but I seem to be obsessed with all things little and cross stitched at the moment. Might as well go with it!
DeleteWhat pretty colors. I was thinking what Boud wrote - you are tireless, Mary Anne. And focussed.
ReplyDeleteTireless? No - just easily bored. I have to have something to do at all times or I can't stand myself.
DeleteI'm glad to see you are soooo productive! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteAt least being busy keeps me out of trouble!
DeleteI'm falling in love quickly with these. Those colors are sooooo pretty.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely different colours than I'm used to - but I do like them.
