Virtual tour - Part 3

Here's part three of the quilt show tour.....

This one was covered in Swarovski crystals and absolutely glittered....doesn't show very well in my photo though!

I think I have enough photos to do one more
post on the show, so stay tuned!

Today's quote..."We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing"

  2. More lovely quilts, Mary Anne. Gosh the Swarovski crystals one is amazing. Enjoyed reading the article and as for the thought of growing old and always playing.....it looks as if I might be eternally young. =)

    1. There were two quilts (by the same person) featuring the crystals - both were so sparkly! And I'm so glad you'll be eternally young - we can play together.

    1. You're welcome! I forgot all about my camera at the last show so I guess I'm making up for it now.

  4. Beautiful quilts again Mary Anne, what a lovely show. I love the one with the crystals 'Enchanting Stars' if you enlarge the photo you can see hints of the sparkle but, I imagine it was fabulous in real life! Have a lovely weekend! Christine xx

    1. Yes, the crystal quilt was beautiful in real life - they had it well-lit so it really showed off the sparkle.

    1. There were a lot of beautiful quilts at the show and I think maybe I went overboard with taking photos!

  6. I could spend hours at a quilt show just taking in all the patterns and color. It's hard not to want to photograph everything. Great links!

    1. I think I did go a little overboard with photos, but the quilts were all so nice and I couldn't resist.
