HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
TO THOSE WHO CELEBRATE
THIS WEEKEND!
THIS WEEKEND!
The quote is from Mitch Albom... "Behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begins"
Happy mother's day to you, and to your daughters in law.
ReplyDeleteThank you! And a very happy day to you as well.
DeleteThat saying is so true. And thanks for all the links.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Jocelyn - I have fun searching out interesting links (at least they're interesting to me!!)
DeleteI bet it will be another beauty! Ooooh, those crochet paintings are awesome. Happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteI was blown away by those crocheted paintings - amazing work!!!
DeleteLove it when you find your passion! Love your shaving cream sky! Happy Mother’s Day!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think I have altogether too many passions, but I guess that's a good thing. Enjoy your weekend!
DeleteAlready excited! :) I, too, love the shaving cream sky. It's perfect!
ReplyDeleteGosh - it must not take much to make you excited!
Deletelol... Considering that I think you're something of a genius with fabric and thread I'd say your work amounts to a great deal. I'll try to use fewer exclamation marks next time, though. (chuckling)
Deletelol - if you keep saying these nice things it will go to my head!!!
DeleteBack again. Having read someone comment on crocheted paintings I had to check the first link (I had by passed it originally). Those are so FUN! Glad I took a peek. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you saw that one Becki because I was thinking of you when I posted it. They're certainly not something I would ever tackle doing but they're fun to see.
DeleteHappy Mother's Day Mary Anne and to your followers also.
ReplyDeleteThank you my friend! It's already been a nice weekend - treated to breakfast out by the Resident Chef yesterday, flowers from #2 son & daughter-in-love, and a phone call from #1 son. Today Resident Chef is making me bread.
DeleteYour sky looks amazing! This will be another Masterpiece. Great crocheted Works of HeArt. Thank you for the Happy Mother’s Day wishes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sherry - dunno about the masterpiece part but it's not looking too bad.
DeleteThis is looking good already Mary Anne! I am glad there is no cure for your obsession.... I love seeing you create these landscapes and you are getting better and better each time! Happy Mothers' Day to you. Being British, I celebrated in March! Have a lovely weekend! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think my readers must get tired of seeing the same old types of things, but it is what it is! I wonder why Mother's Day is at such different times around the world.
DeleteAnother project adventure begins! I enjoy watching the progress. And Happy Mother's Day to you too. It's wonderful to be a mom isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYes, it is special being a mom - and being a grandma too!
DeleteI always love visiting you and one of your beautiful buildings, Mary Anne. I hope you enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day♥
ReplyDeleteI had a lovely Mother's Day weekend, thank you. And I'm so glad you enjoy visiting and reading my mumblings!!
