And here is what you could win
(once I finish it, that is!).

Today your quote is... "In my life, I've lived, I've loved, I've lost, I've missed, I've hurt, I've trusted, I've made mistakes, but most of all, I've learned"

  1. My favorite cookie treat of all time is Shortbread. the kind that is called Mexican Wedding Cookies around here (Maryland) - made into balls and rolled in confectioner's sugar - is my most favorite.

Thanks so much for your blog!! I enjoy going to your links and seeing what you've enjoyed ... and it makes me smile when I see something you've linked to that I like, too.

  2. Great links, Mary Ann. However, check out the first one as it doesn't seem to be working properly (might be the site). The swap is a great idea. However, time is not on my side. Good luck with it. I would love to win your giveaway! :) Cheers

  3. Thank you for the swap reminder. I have another ATC to stitch and swap but somehow thought I have lots of time...NOT! Love your links you find and share. You save us all lots of time. I absolutely LOVE your CQ card in perfect traditional Christmas Red and Green and White.
I have a new favorite Pumpkin dessert from my WW friend, Sally. She created “Easy Pumpkin Orange Pie” and it is very figure friendly and tasty. With Thanksgiving upon us it will be delicious. Blessings MA Dear...xo

  5. Well, since I forgot to mention my favorite Christmas treat, it is my mom's recipe for a dark fruit cake. It is the best.

  6. It has to be an English sherry trifle. My mother always used to make one for the tea table on Boxing Day.

  7. My favourite thing for Christmas was the amazing cake Mum used to make years ago. No-body made it like my Mother did! Ha! I guess we all say that! This year Hannah is doing a vegan Christmas Eve celebration so I have no idea what is about to become my new favourite - have fun with your giveaway. Karen, Miss H and Baa. xxx (Baa wants you to know his favourite is Chocolate - always!!)

  8. Actually, it's cookies. My all time favourite is oatmeal cookies. The recipe was given to me by a friend years and years ago. They are not your regular oatmeal cookies, these are soft and almost melt in your mouth. The dough is rolled in icing sugar before being forked flat. I can make them anytime but I don't. Gosh, I guess I should get cracking here and do some baking before the season is gone...

  11. My favourite Christmas treat is good old fashioned Home made mince pies. Strangely I don't eat them any other time of the year. Blessings

  12. I used to love Pumpkin pie with lots of whipping cream; however, I have developed an allergy to one of the spices used so now can only have it sparingly.

  13. Christmas Cookies are my favorite. Well, any kind of homemade cookies are my favorite. The thing I love best is Springerle cookies that are made form the rolling pin that my great- grandparents brought over on the boat from Germany. The sense of tradition gets me every time.
