Well, it's obvious I did that very thing! Because the postcard I posted yesterday was really # 14 and it appears I can't count!! Oops!
So.....this one is number 14 then, or it can be 15....or whatever you want it to be, because obviously I haven't a clue!! (All I know is that there are four more to go and I can count those on one hand...phew).
Today your quote is from Arundhati Roy... "To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget"
Lol.....I can't count, either....you'd think at 59 going on 69 years I would have learned by now....nope. Love the postcard stitching. Can hardly wait to see how you bring all of them together. I'm certain it will be epic.

Good quote, 'to never look away, to never forget'.
ReplyDeletePost card (#?) is lovely.
What a darling piece this is.
ReplyDeleteLove that quote too. Working in pink is very, very nice when life feels harsh at times.Pink is a lovely healing colour.

It's obvious though, you are certainly not clueless on how to create beautiful post cards....what's in a number, anyway. =)
ReplyDeleteI just thought I was missing #14 and I even reviewed your recent posts looking for it. Too Funny! Lovely no matter which number it is.
ReplyDeleteCounting is overrated anyway! Lovely postcards however many.
ReplyDeleteha..ha....well, no matter the number this one is another wonderful postcard and very sweet picture of the little girl and her bird. Love it.
ReplyDeleteGood quote. Much food for thought. Have you read any of her books?
ReplyDeleteAfter working on postcards for this long, you'll be lost when the habit switches to a new one!
xx, Carol
It is a beautiful postcard! I'd like to think we've all had counting moments like this. ;)
ReplyDeleteCounting is over-rated! Lovely, sweet little postcard!
ReplyDeleteWhatever the number (I miscount, too!) that silkie is adorable and so is your postcard.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving how you're using these postcards, no matter how many!! Thanks, also, for sharing the links to new ideas in your last post. I'm looking forward to getting my new craft room set up and start creating. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhatever the number your postcard is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful quote choice was just what I needed to hear today and funny because I've had your page up on my computer since yesterday.
Hard to make a plan sometimes when stuff gets in the way

Lovely stitch motifs and a sweet picture of the little girl.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you could miscount more often so we could be delighted by extra postcards.
So pretty !
