Introducing...'Cherry Blossom Dreams'!

"CHERRY BLOSSOM DREAMS"
measures approx. 23x21"

FOR SALE!!!

- HERE is a cute project that would be fun to make.

- I thought THIS was rather interesting, although getting the supplies locally might be a bit of an issue.  Would be a great use for an old leather coat though!

- THIS is an awwww-thing (at least I thought so)

- I really enjoyed scrolling through THESE for inspiration.

- Those of you who might be interested in weaving might enjoy THESE.

Today the quote is from Will Rogers..."Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip"

  1. The leather idea might work if you have thrifted leather gloves or a handbag. You could piece it together. That's a very nice finished work there. I think someone will love it. Particularly right now with the snow everywhere, a nice contrast.

    1. I used to do leather work back in the day but didn't keep any of my supplies when we moved here. Hopefully someone will want to buy the landscape, but you never know.

    1. Yes, I'm somewhat done with French knots for the moment, but that's not to say they won't be putting in an appearance on the next landscape too.

  7. Mary Anne, this is wonderful in every respect. So many beautiful blooms! I can imagine sitting on that bench and taking in the scents and view. I also love the color you chose to outline/frame the picture in. Well done!

  11. Lovely harbinger of spring! I read a book about Japanese cherry trees -- The Sakura Obsession by Naoko Abe. Great (true) story.

    1. Cherry blossoms are a good indicator of spring in some areas (sadly not here though).
