Yet more French knots

I decided that the flower swaths needed to be enhanced with embroidery...so...more French knots, along with fly stitches and some lazy daisies here and there.  I don't know how well you can see the stitching in this picture, but hopefully you can...

(sorry about the sideways picture, but my computer is refusing to set it right)

- There's a virtual gallery of fabric art HERE.

- And be sure to have a look at what THIS amazing artist does - using paper!!!

- I wouldn't have thought of this use for THESE (but I would use one for keeping wayward sewing supplies in check).

- Have  a peek at the creations of THIS amazing artist!

- There are lots of free knit and crochet patterns HERE.

Today's quote is from Mr. Rogers..."We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility.  It's easy to say, 'It's not my child, Not my community; Not my world; Not my problem.  Then there are those who see the need and respond.  I consider those people my heroes"

Sherryofcreateology: Beautiful embroidery is always very special on your landscapes. So many amazing artists you have shared. I have made the little fabric trays out of 5” charm squares so that they are mailable in a card. They hold lots of little bits! Mr. Roger’s was a wonderful person and we need him more now than ever! Blessings Dear…

    1. My fingers give me grief from arthritis anyway, but I refuse to give in and continue to stitch.

    1. I've done so many French knots over the years so I'm comfortable with them (that's not to say I don't have the occasional problem though).
