Narrowing in

The latest landscape will soon be done but it's not quite ready to be totally unveiled just yet.  For now, here's a closeup of the foreground...

- THESE might be a fun project for Easter.

- THIS would be a great use for some of your scraps.

- If you're a quilter and struggle with making Flying Geese, have a read through THIS post filled with great tips.

- Perhaps you'd like to make one of THESE to grace your home this spring.

Today's quote...'Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach"

  1. It's nice to see spring flowers in your current work. They seem far away just now.

    1. Spring floiwers do indeed seem a long ways away, so I'm making myself think spring with this landscape.

  4. it's waaaay too early, but there are a few scattered yellow crocus blooming in our wall garden (even before the dandelions have made an appearance) and they won't listen to me telling them to wait a bit - anywho, i am NOT gonna share your pretty blossoms with them cuz they'll thumb their noses at me...

    2. it's so dry and waaay too warm - today, with high winds, a grass fire injured five people (four of them firefighters) just a few blocks from a high school in the middle of Denver, and several miles of the interstate had to be closed due to poor visibility from the smoke - we need some snow or rain cuz it's getting scary

    3. Wouldn't it be nice if we could simply order up the rain/snow when we truly need it. Hope you get some soon!

  5. Looking forward to seeing the new landscape. We are under snow and ice here (though it is melting) and blossoms of any kind are a long way off.

    God bless.

    1. I'm very much over snow and am more than ready for spring. At least playing with spring flowers works for a small amount of escapism.

    1. The real thing is going to be awhile appearing so at least I can somewhat think it's spring whilst I worked on this.
