Today's quote...'Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach"

It's nice to see spring flowers in your current work. They seem far away just now.
ReplyDeleteSpring floiwers do indeed seem a long ways away, so I'm making myself think spring with this landscape.
DeleteSpring! Gorgeous work there!
ReplyDeleteMay
Thanks May!
DeleteBefore we know it there will be real tulips blooming! Until then, your landscape quilt provides cheer.
ReplyDeleteThe real thing can't happen soon enough!
Deleteit's waaaay too early, but there are a few scattered yellow crocus blooming in our wall garden (even before the dandelions have made an appearance) and they won't listen to me telling them to wait a bit - anywho, i am NOT gonna share your pretty blossoms with them cuz they'll thumb their noses at me...
ReplyDeleteCrocus in bloom? Lucky you!!
Deleteit's so dry and waaay too warm - today, with high winds, a grass fire injured five people (four of them firefighters) just a few blocks from a high school in the middle of Denver, and several miles of the interstate had to be closed due to poor visibility from the smoke - we need some snow or rain cuz it's getting scary
DeleteWouldn't it be nice if we could simply order up the rain/snow when we truly need it. Hope you get some soon!
DeleteLooking forward to seeing the new landscape. We are under snow and ice here (though it is melting) and blossoms of any kind are a long way off.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Lots of snow here too so no flowers for us either.
ReplyDeleteWe got snow here in Montreal as well! I love your creative talent! Beautiful flowers and colours!
ReplyDeleteI'm very much over snow and am more than ready for spring. At least playing with spring flowers works for a small amount of escapism.
DeleteSherryofcreateology: MA Dear your flowers are looking so Spring Fresh! I love this quote and can only wish I had learned it many years ago! Sending you Sunshine and Warmth…XOXO
ReplyDeleteThe real thing is going to be awhile appearing so at least I can somewhat think it's spring whilst I worked on this.
DeleteLooks like you figured out the flowers. Very pretty and so Spring-like!!
ReplyDeleteFelt seemed like the best way to go and I found a tutorial for making the daffs online...perfect!
DeleteOh my goodness - those flowers are stunning! I love the colours, the spring look to the whole piece - so nice whilst I sit in -25 weather with 6 feet of snow out the front door!
ReplyDeleteI was certainly thinking spring when I was working on this one. I'm heartily tired of winter!
DeleteYour flowers really add so much to this piece--such lovely work on this one...I think we are all so tired of Wintry weather...
ReplyDeleteHugs for a great weekend, Julierose
I had fun making the flowers so perhaps I'll try making more at some point. And yes, winter can exit anytime!
