I'm working on the fusion blocks and it seems there's no end in sight, at least not for awhile.  I know myself well enough to realize that if I set them aside at this point it will take a miracle to get me to pick them up again, so I continue on...and on....
- THESE would be a cute and quick fall/halloween decor item.
- HERE is a nice project that uses sock weight yarn. And THIS is a one-skein project that I think would work equally as well with leftover yarns from your stash (scroll down for the free pattern).
- Perhaps you'd like to make one of THESE.
- THIS is a cute little project.
- I really like THIS!
Today's quote...

What's the destination for this project?
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to make one throw sized quilt that will be covering the back of our couch and then, if there are enough squares, I'm hopeful of making two small 'covers' that will throw over the headrests of our living room chairs. We'll see how I end up.
DeleteHang in there--this will really be a beautiful project and definitely worth it...sometimes I think for me a day off, helps--or just making the bases of blocks at one time...but then i like repetitiveness a lot...hugs, Julierose;)))
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty much how I'm approaching it Julierose - doing all the bases first and then adding the crochet to the edges, followed by putting them together into rows.
DeleteI appreciate your creativity! I love the quote.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda!
DeleteThe cardigan project link is a must do that. I have a sweater hanging that's perfect to use. The Boro bag is really nice as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend!
Glad you liked the cardigan project - hope you show pictures!
DeleteMany a time I feel the same way about a project, but like you, I just keep plugging away. Think of how lovely the throws/quilts will look when done.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Large projects always seem to be a slog at some point so it's not unexpected. I'm hoping the throws will be nice.
Deleteyou'll be making steady progress and it WILL get done cuz that's how you roll ... hand in there!
ReplyDeleteI'm making progress and yes it will get done because I'm stubborn that way.
DeleteI had to look at your previous post to figure out the Fusion blocks. Are you turning them into a quilt? Interesting project. Thanks for the links. The beaded plant look like fun and I love that bag.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm making them into a throw-size quilt and hopefully will have enough blocks to make two matching backrests for our chairs.
