A little close up

I meant to take a picture to give you a closeup of the planter box on the last landscape so, for lack of something else to show you today, here it is...

Hopefully you can click to embiggen and will be able to find the broccoli, cauliflower and carrots hidden among the vines.

- You might want to give THIS a try.

- I'm not sure what to think about most of THIS!

- Have a look at the fun creations by THIS amazing artist.

- THIS is a cute project that would use up scraps.

Today's quote..."We are not all in the same boat.  We are in the same storm.  Some have yachts, some canoes, and some are drowning.  Just be kind and help whoever you can"

    1. I didn't think the detail would show up in the original photo (and besides, I didn't have anything else ready to post about!)

    1. Their actual planter boxes have a mixture of different plants and flowers in them so I had to add some veggies, just for fun.

  6. Your planter box growing pretty embroideries is rather wonderful. Isn't it fun to embroider?? Now, I suppose sailing on a yacht would be rather nice but I'm rather accustomed to my little canoe. =)

    1. I'd rather paddle my own canoe too. The people I like are all here with me.

  9. do you machine or hand stitch everything?

    1. It's a combination of both. The piecing is done mostly by machine as is the quilting (or, in this case, the grass and sky areas). I use hand stitching for the embroidery details.

  10. That garden box caught my eye in the photo in your previous post. I decided to not single it out because there was so much eye candy in the quilt. I'm glad you did. I love the little teepee trellis! And, of course, all the veggies. ❤️
