Sort of blah

It's been hot again and not much is being accomplished it seems.  Spent all of yesterday reading a book that I thought was good until I got to the end and it left me totally hanging.  Oh, but it's going to be continued in the next book expected in late 2025.  Hah, by that time I will have forgotten the entire plot line.

- If you are creating a fairy garden or simply want to add something charming to your garden decor, check THESE out.

- There are some fun ideas HERE for using twigs.  No directions, but most are easy enough to figure out on your own.

- There are links HERE for making yourself some palazzo pants.

- Have a peek through the creations of THIS artist.

- THIS is a rather cute little project.

Today's quote is from Erasmus..."The less talent they have, the more pride, vanity and arrogance they have.  All these fools, however, find other fools who applaud them"

  1. Twigs, huh? Well, I have plenty of those around. Hm. This could work for a teapot mat.

  3. it's hot here, too - and dry ... people are cranky (yeah, i'm cuh-ranky, too) ... twigs, huh? who knew? maybe i should be thanking those squirrels who keep for girdling the maple tree's branches...

    1. The RC was 'thanking' the squirrels this morning because they'd climbed up the outside wall (three storeys!) and dug in his planter boxes, leaving mud all over. He was also blessing the blue jays who keep 'planting' peanuts in the boxes which entices the squirrels.

  4. I'll pass on the palazzo pants, thank you. LOL! Today is full sunshine, low humidity, high temp 80. Beautiful.

    1. I'll pass on them too, but only because I don't like sewing clothing.

Sherryofcreateology: It is hot here also…but then I am in the desert! I love to read books yet I can barely remember what I read last week let alone after 6 months. Lots of great fun links again dear…thank you. Another perfect quote for us in America!

    1. I'm the same when it comes to books. It's not until I'm partway through a book that I realize that it's vaguely familiar.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
