Mountain majesty

I had too much fun making this one too!  The embroidery took awhile and I know it's hard for you to see the dimension that most of it has, or that I added glitter to the snow-topped mountains.

And here's a closeup of the embroidery so hopefully you can see more detail...

"MOUNTAIN MAJESTY"
measures approx. 18x23"

  1. Yes, I think you have to see this piece in person to appreciate it best. Especially the embroidery.

    1. It's difficult to get a picture that shows the dimension in the embroidery, for sure. Wish you could see it in person!

  2. As always I made your photo bigger so I could see the stitching up close and it is so beautiful. My goodness, what a talent you are! I'm here struggling to keep my string machine stitching straight while you are creating art!!!

    1. Hah - the entire reason I don't do 'sane' quilts is I can never keep my stitching straight. With landscapes it doesn't matter!

    1. Thank you Catherine. I hope it sells too but if it doesn't, it will just reside in the pile with all the rest.

  5. I love the way you have the landscape spilling out of the frame! Leads the viewer right into that valley :)
