HEAD's UP!!!!

JUST LETTING YOU KNOW MY COMPUTER IS ACTING LIKE IT'S ABOUT TO JUMP OFF THE PIER.  IF I DISAPPEAR FOR A BIT, DON'T WORRY.  I'LL BE BACK AFTER I MANAGE TO LOCATE A NEW ONE, UNLESS I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX IT.

  2. Aaargh! I really feel for you. I’m having problems with Blogger and wonder if this is your problem too, rather than your actual computer?
    A few days ago I thought it would be nice to change my header photograph. I changed it over Christmas but didn’t want that photo to be there for the whole year. So, I thought I knew had to change it again ..... but then found the latest photo looked like a postage stamp! I kept trying different photos until I found one that filled the space. I fiddled with the “to fit” button too, not sure if it’s on or not now. Seeing your photo I wondered if this was what was happening to you too.
    Oh heck now I’m blabbering on, and maybe no help at all .....

    1. Good thought, but I don't think it's Blog-grrrrrr this time. I got the 'blue screen of death' this morning and I know that's leading up to a probable total melt down (for the computer AND for me!!!!)

    1. I googled and tried a couple fixes myself and it's still running - but not happily. With covid numbers the way they are I certainly don't want to have to go to any stores or repair shops if I can help it.

  4. I had to spring for a new one this summer as mine was irreparable. I tried taking it to a repair shop but they said it wasn't worth fixing. They did help me pick out a new one that I ordered and when it came in, they were able to transfer my files for me and set it up. I wish you luck with yours.

    1. I might have to go the route of ordering a new one online and then drop it off at the local store in hopes that they can set it up for me. For now, it's still working, albeit not the way it should.
