    1. I wish a photo did it justice - the glitter I added just adds so much sparkle here and there.

    1. It sparkles in the right light but that part doesn't show up in pictures unfortunately.

  6. Mary Anne, your wintry landscape is sublime. Every element is stunning from the fabulous red barn, to the varying patterns in the snow....the sky, the differing embroideries, the pretty snowflakes dotted here and there around the border....but for me it is the majestic trees I find the most beautiful. Their glittery, snow capped needles/leaves rising high above that amazing barn draw me into all the exquisite-ness of your most amazing work of art. Take a bow young lady!

  10. Oh Mary Anne. This is beautiful. You've managed to make a picture that is both frosty and cozy looking at the same time. I love the snowy trees. And I love the different designs you stitched in the snow. I love everything about this! :)

    1. Interesting that you would say it appears frosty and cozy - never thought of snow being particularly cozy, but having said that I guess snow that's made in fabric is far preferable to the real thing!
