I let my fingers do the walking and ordered some fabric to add to my stash. And I just got done making all those tote bags to use stash UP and here I go buying more!! What can I say?
Today the quote is from Joyce Meyer..."Don't wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to enjoy your life"
Great links. The awsome quilting collages on the first one are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI was blown away by those collages too - amazing!
Deletewell if you used up a lot of your scraps to use up stash it makes perfect sense that you need to replace it! Lol....Sometimes we just can't help ourselves......those animal portraits make me want to start my Sophie project
ReplyDeleteI still have lots of scraps but sometimes you just need to get something new to play with. Hope you soon start on Sophie because I'm anxious to see what you do!
DeleteI find All the links show awesome work. Hard not to re-check them again. Empty spaces with no fabric looks dismal- better to buy more and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteBut oh the possibilities when you have empty spaces!
DeleteBeautiful additions to the stash and as you already have plans for some of it absolutely necessary additions!!! Love the fabric artwork in your first link.... so beautiful! Have a lovely day! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteI agree that the art in that first link is pretty stunning. And yes I do have plans for most of the new fabric additions but there's also a little bit that was 'just because'.
DeleteGreat links! It's amazing the art that is been created. It's always nice to add new 'stuff' to our stash!!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many great artists out there - far too many to feature here, but I try! New stash enhancement is a good thing as long as I remember not to get carried away. My overall desire is to use up what I have.
DeleteWell, if one get's rid of some fabric from their stash, it is always a good thing to acquire some more. That bear fabric will be fabulous for a stocking. Oh my goodness, those pet portraits are beyond amazing.
ReplyDeleteStash is an evolutionary thing - it comes and goes. Although sometimes it sits and stagnates (case in point, what I used for the tote bags that had been taking up real estate in my stash for probably 20 years!).
DeleteYou needn't say anything. I daresay we all understand. I've been eyeing yarn lately. Need I say more? I do love that bear fabric. And the old-fashion-looking Christmas prints, too. No... wait... I embiggened the picture and I declare I like it all!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like my choices Becki - I do too. I didn't show a picture of the yarn stash I also enhanced. Most of it is earmarked for mitten-making for Christmas so I'll show it as finished products. Hopefully! The bear fabric is absolutely scrumptious.....it feels SOOOO soft!
DeleteGetting rid of your stash and adding to your stash is what it's all about?
ReplyDeleteThe ebb and flow of a stash - I guess that's a good way to describe it.
DeleteI love your new banner dear. New fabrics are always appreciated...especially when you create as many amazing things as you do! Blessings...
ReplyDeleteI thought it was time for a new banner and this one reminds me of fall a little bit. You're right - new fabric fodder is always fun!
