Another page

I pretty much finished this page over the weekend...

The tent (made from a recycled suede jacket) opens and will have a family picture inside once I get some more ink for my printer.

Today's quote is from Rick Godwin..."One reason people resist change is because they focus on what they have to give up, instead of what they have to gain"

  1. Nice work! The tent is a great idea for a holiday gift. Love the quote. Good words to guide cleaning out closets.

  2. This is a terrific page! Love the idea of putting a family picture inside the tent. Are you designing each of these pages, or are you following a pattern? Either way, your creativity is inspiring.

    1. Thanks Becki! I can't say I'm designing the pages per se - I'm using ideas I see on the internet and then changing them up to suit. I like the idea of him being able to open the zipper and find a picture of people he recognizes.

  3. Fun progress, Mary Ann.
I like the casserole carrier link, Sew4Home has good tips and tutorials. That is a challenge to get
a big serving dish of chicken enchiladas in the back of the car and drive through town to destination with
no spills or mishaps. That carrier would make it easier!
    Very thoughtful quote.

    1. I try to include as much texture as I can, just for that added bit of interest for a little one.
