Another finish

This one has been ongoing for a couple of months so don't get excited and think I'm churning things out with great pizzazz!  We're expecting a new baby in the family the end of January so this little blanket will be for him....

Today's quote..."Give, but don't allow yourself to be used.  Love, but don't allow your heart to be abused.  Trust, but don't be naive.  Listen, but don't lose your own voice"

  3. The blanket, is it crochet? Knit? It's lovely anyway. So exciting to be thinking about a new baby. You said him, so I'm guessing they know at this point?

    1. It's crochet - sorry, I should have said that. And yes, they found out that the baby is a boy when we were out there visiting.

    1. It's not as large as I would normally make, but they have a bigger one I made for his older brother so I'm sure they can trade off the two as they need to (hmm....trading off blankets, NOT brothers...hee hee)

    1. I've never been big on the traditional pink or blue for babies and when I started this we didn't know that it will be a boy. These colours work no matter what.

    1. When I started this one we didn't know if it would be a girl or a boy so I thought the colours would work for either. Turns out it's a boy!

  10. Mary Anne Dear you cannot deny how prolific you truly are with all the amazing projects you create and complete! WOW! Love this afghan for your new little addition. Excellent quote and too bad our youth are not taught these things early on.

    1. Funny, I don't feel as though I'm prolific. For some reason I feel as though I should be doing more!
