Just mumbling today

I was away most of the day yesterday and much of today too, so not much done on the stitching front beyond trying a few more ideas to try to wrestle my sewing machine into submission.  More dismal failures and I know you have NO interest in seeing those!!

On the bright side, I did receive a call from a person in the 'education' department at Bernina.  Of course I wasn't home when she called, but at least we're trying to connect.  Remains to be seen if she has any good ideas to fix my issues.  If not, I may have to scuttle my whole plan of trying to create barns and give up on any type of free motion work (or working with mono thread).  Not what I want to do, but buying yet another sewing machine is definitely not in my budget.

Today the quote is from an anonymous source..."One day or day one. You decide"

  1. I has always been told that Bernina are one of the better sewing machine companies. I so hope they sort out your problems with the machine. Free motion or machine sketching is really the the best fun. Love that quote!

  2. Sorry to hear about your sewing machine woes. I have one or two that should be taken in for their 'lube, oil and filter.'

  3. I really like this quote. My husband has said this many times. Great links as always. Fingers crossed for your Brennan rep to resolve your machine issues and allow you to FMQ. Hot here again today! <3

  4. Congratulations, 'Courtship" got published! It is very romantic with beautiful embroidery.
FMQ takes practice, hand eye coordination and using your machine. Ask me how I know.
No don't, you probably have already guessed. I'm sure you will get it worked out.
Thanks for the links, and that is a good quote.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
