DONE!!!!
It ended up being larger than I expected, but not quite enough to cover the entire bed.
I had planned on it being just a 'throw' to go across the bottom
(there's a name for them these days, but it escapes me).
Anyway...
Used up all but a few little pieces of the velvet
AND also a large length of flannelette I had
residing in my stash.
Definitely a win/win!!
that was fast! and lovely, too. I hope teddy likes it...
ReplyDeleteIt looks absolutely wow!!Great finish!!
ReplyDeleteOh how satisfying Mary Anne to have it finished. You took literally no time at all to get the top finished and it looks great - so many beautiful and rich fabrics here!
ReplyDeleteI can see you really enjoyed creating this!
Have a great week ahead and now for the backing!
Nice work. You will probably find this endlessly useful as you go along.
ReplyDeleteSo colourful! Very nice, and I bet soft to the touch.
ReplyDeleteI bet this was fun. No thinking of what has to go where or what to put on it. I should try one like this.
ReplyDeleteTried to leave you one on your cloth but after 3 trys it disappeared and I wasn't going to start over.
I hope better luck here.
Your cloth is beautiful.
