Denim tote+stash reduction

I reduced some of my recycled denim stash making this tote for a Christmas gift. The picture above is the front and the side view is below. There's a pocket on each side which might be handy to carry a cell phone.
The pattern is Simplicity 2597 and I know I'll be making more of these!

  1. That's a lovely tote, and i especially like the embroidery and flowers all over it. Very clever stitchin.

Wow..MA..I just love the totes you make. This one is really WOW! I also love your icicle dolls. Very handy with the needle and thread aren't you!!

  3. Love your denim totes, especially the one you sent me! :)

  4. Oh, so cute Mary Anne! Did you embroider the stars on the denim or did it come that way?

I bought a vintage bag today that is totally covered in white pailettes! It's a little bigger than what I normally carry for a purse but the sparkles were irresistible to me. And so was the $15 price tag! I of course, plan to embellish it some more.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
