I'm not normally a Halloween person, but for some reason I thought I should make a haunted house landscape piece, so this is the beginning....
There's a long way to go on this one!- Because Christmas in July is a 'thing' (even though I know it's technically not still July!), perhaps you might like to make some of THESE ornaments.
- THIS is an interesting article.
- I've noticed granny squares are coming back in style lately, so when I saw THIS I thought I'd share in case someone is interested. I rather like the plain coloured version.
- I love THIS (if I were a shawl-y type of person).
- THIS is awwww-worthy.
Today's quote...
Lovely colours. And the cartoon is 😁 😂 funny.
ReplyDeleteI always hesitate to show a landscape at this stage of development because I know it looks like pretty much a disaster, but it will get better (I hope!).
DeleteLove the start of your Spooky Halloween piece;))) Can't wait to see what other gremlins you include;)))
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julierose
I have ideas for what's coming next but have to finish some of the shading first.
DeleteAnother landscape already under way?? You're unstoppable.
ReplyDeletenah - I just get bored easily!
DeleteGreat start to the Halloween project. I love that Christmas ornament and may just have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I thought it would be fun to create something with a Halloween theme so we'll see how it goes.
DeleteI feel that meme. And that's all I'm sayin'. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteSherryofcreateology: How fun to do a Halloween landscape! I like these links. Oh dear heavens…perfect quote!!!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely having fun creating a spooky house...something outside my norm, that's for sure.
Deleteoh yeah - this landscape is gonna be fun, i can tell already!!!
ReplyDeletei dunno about you, but i'm pretty much over trying to not offend stoopid people - i have a limited amount of nice each day and i don't want to waste it on idiots...
It IS fun so far! I'm pondering the next step and not at all sure I can pull it off.
DeleteOh, that's going to be cool!
ReplyDeleteHopefully it will be! Still wrestling with some design ideas that might or might not work out.
DeleteGreetings MA: I do not celebrate Halloween but love this quilt, I do like haunted houses, I have been in only one that I thought was really haunted.
ReplyDeleteThank-you for the links, love the folded star ornament.
Catherine
I've never celebrated Halloween either but I thought a haunted house would be a fun challenge.
DeleteYour 'Halloween' house looks like one of those fabulous haunted Victorian houses. It's going to be fun to see what you do, Mary Anne.
ReplyDeleteI'm having fun with it Kim - who knows where it's going to end up.
DeleteI'm not a big Halloween person either, but the thing is a lot of people are.
ReplyDeleteI've never been a fan of Halloween myself but as you say, a lot of people are.
