Several years ago on one of our trips out to BC to visit our family we went to an apple orchard and I took this picture...
- Have a peek at the wonderful eye candy found HERE!
- And take a look at the amazing creations of THIS artist!
- THIS is a nice project bag that would be fun to make.
Today your quote is from Nania Hoffman..."You will never regret the times you stopped to listen to a loved one, or put down your phone to be present, or paused to notice something beautiful, or made an effort to be kind. This is the good stuff. Don't miss it."
Thank you for resisting! And I really like today's quotation.

DeleteYour piece is so realistic and pretty. Depth, color, lines. I would have used an orange hand dye cut to fill in your pumpkin area, then stitched circles over in black thread to imply pumpkins.... if I still had my old simple machine because it was so good with free motion, the one I am using now is not smooth and it would be a wrestling match. You found the fabric though.
ReplyDeleteyour original photo is so interesting, the orange next to the blue truck is exciting

I would have used an orange hand dye too but when a piece of preprinted pumpkins the exact size I needed happened along I went with it instead. Fussy cutting for the win!
