Yes, I think I can officially call the current cross stitch 'kick' to be over for this year. The final things from my needle include these postcards...
- If you have a Harry Potter fan in your family, perhaps one of the projects found HERE might be something to make for them. And if you have a Lord of the Rings fan in your midst, maybe something from HERE?
- There's a short fall-themed mystery project starting HERE that some of you might find fun to do.
- THIS link will take you to a whole bunch (!!!) of free knit and crochet designs.
- There are a number of rather cute crocheted elf designs HERE.
The quote this time is from John Wayne..."I'm only responsible for what I say, not for what you understand"
Lovely cards. The quote is a thinking quote, I think.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter fan here. Those are nice designs. Love the mittens.
I'm a fan of both Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings so those patterns caught my eye.
DeletePostcards are relatively quick to do (although decided to do cross stitch was a little more time consuming than simply sewing fabric pieces together or using paper bits.
We're doing Elf-themed decor for the holidays so I may need to do some of those crochet pieces for the kiddos!
ReplyDeleteNice! Good timing on my part to share that link then!
DeleteYour cards are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your links... I'm getting in the mood for knitting again... I've printed out a neck warmer and some mittens... plus the Autumn Stitchalong :-))
However, my sewing machine is also ready.
Many greetings to you from Viola... it's nice that I found you.
p.s. Now I look at the elves :-)))
Welcome Viola! It's nice to have you here. Hopefully you'll find a few things of interest here at Chez Magpie!
DeleteNice cross stitch. Wondering what's the next Big Thing!
ReplyDeleteThe next big thing is almost done - hope to have pictures on Wednesday!
DeleteLovely postcards--you've really gone to town with cross stitching this year!! Great stuff! hugs, julierose
ReplyDeleteI'll be glad to give that particular form of stitching a break for awhile!
DeleteWOWZA!!! These are SPECTULAR!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank ye! They're all ready to pop in the mail in another few weeks.
DeleteThey are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicki! I know you like postcards.
DeleteYour postcards are great. I must say that you work very quickly.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
These postcards were relatively simple designs so worked up fast. All the same, I'm done with cross stitching for awhile!
DeleteLOVE, love today's saying! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it!
DeleteBeautiful cards Mary Anne, you have been busy getting all that stitching done! Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteThere won't be any more cross stitching for a little while - I think I'm cross stitched out!
DeleteYour cards are treasures - I certainly treasure mine :)
ReplyDeleteThose will be very lucky recipients of those beautiful cards. Do you mail them just like that or are they put in some kind of protective sleeve?
ReplyDeleteI always put them in a regular envelope...generally tucked inside a Christmas card. I know some people mail them as is but I'm always afraid of them getting caught in the post office equipment.
DeleteWhat, no more cross stitching?! They all look great!
