Well it was certainly a rude awakening here this morning - looked outside and it's snowing. SNOWING!!! And it's three days before the end of May. What's with that?!!! Canada in the spring -
Well....do you see it??
It's right above there ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
You mean you STILL don't see it???
Well, I can't UNSEE that snow this morning so thought I'd take a video to show you. Unfortunately I can't get it to load onto the blog.
Sigh.
Oh. Well then. Surprise!!!!
Today's quote is from Steve Maraboli..."Why let go of yesterday? Because yesterday has already let go of you"
Oh no! Snow! Hopefully it was brief and warmed up quickly. We're not going to have too good of a 3-day weekend here. We did manage to get in some miniature golf this morning with friends. I'll be checking out some of those links when the rain starts.
ReplyDeleteLuckily it didn't last - but it hasn't warmed up any either. Good thing Resident Chef brought the plants in off the balcony last night!
DeleteAwful snow!
ReplyDeleteChilly here as well, but snow not.
It was certainly a very rude surprise when I opened the bedroom curtains!
DeleteThe bird chirping as the snow is falling seemed like a contradiction. The birdie knows that snow isn't around for long. We're having a welcomed chilly weekend, but no frost. The quote is clever!
ReplyDeleteDidn't realize I captured the bird sound too! Had to go now and listen to be sure. Proves how often I use the video function on my camera! Frost warnings for two or three nights here so Resident Chef hauled in all the plants and now we have them residing in the middle of the living room floor.
DeleteOh wow! Can totally understand your reaction to that!! Finally after a lot of cold wet weather this weekend things seem to have improved here in Switzerland.... we have sunshine.... not sure how long it will last though!! Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteMy reaction to snow is always bad, no matter the time of year, but it's even worse when the weather is supposed to be warm!
DeleteGranddaughter in Calgary just moved house this week, in a snowstorm! First thing she did after unloading was to switch on the gas fire. Very cosy. But you don't expect it in May. Here it's cold slashing rain.
ReplyDeleteCalgary is notorious for weather extremes at very odd times so I feel for her. I can't imagine the delight of having a gas fire though - mmmmm.
DeleteWe didn’t have snow but the last two nights we had frost warnings so we covered the plants. Hoping we both get some warmer weather!
ReplyDeleteFrost warnings here too - and some people reporting losing their garden plants. We hauled ours inside off the balcony and they're still sitting in the middle of the living room floor.
DeleteWhen I read about the snow, I was reminded of living in NL where you could expect it at any time. Some glad we moved! The weather sure is better in NS.
ReplyDeleteNL has it's own attractions though. Wish we had been able to visit there when we did our trip east but we didn't have enough time. Don't suppose we'll get there now.
