Yes, there's been more happening on the latest landscape. The eagle-eyed among you will see a few animals have been added and some birds too. The tree is being worked on and then it will be time to start adding the embroidered details. Some would say I'm anal....
And, these have been my 'sit in front of the tv in the evenings' project over the past couple of weeks. Resident Chef will have toasty toes this winter. They've been tucked under the Christmas tree for him to be oh-so-surprised (!!!) Christmas morning.
Today's quote..."I still believe in Santa Claus. He may not be the one that puts the presents under the tree, but his spirit works through us each time we give freely without expectation and each time we spread joy, love and light"
I spotted the birds straight away. They look very cosy socks which I'm sure will be very much appreciated. That's a lovely quote about Santa Vlaus, so true and so important. Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteYes, the birds are a new addition. Good eye! The socks are the pattern I always use but I know they fit him and that he likes them so why mess with them.
DeleteCardinals in the tree! They're lovely. I don't know if they're new, but I just saw them.
ReplyDeleteI like the scented mug rug idea, for potholders or something. In fact I might make one or two using Thai basil leaves, lovely scent off them.
Good idea to use that mug rug idea for hotmats in the kitchen!
DeleteWe should see more of "Santa Claus" all around.
ReplyDeleteHow true! We should keep that in our hearts all year round.
DeleteThe leaves on the tree look so natural there and highlight the birds. Those socks will be perfect for winter. You can't have too many.
ReplyDeleteResident Chef has discovered he likes my socks so I've started another pair for him using some leftover sock yarn I found in my stash. Can't have my man with cold feet!
DeleteBeautiful socks!
ReplyDeleteI can't really take credit for the way they look - the yarn does that all by itself. I just try my best to make them match if I can.
