Yesterday morning we were notified that there was a delivery on the way from one of the local florists and this is what arrived....
Thank you SO much to our

#2 son and daughter-in-love!!!!
This week I don't have a whole lot to add to my list of 'Making Space' items but these are better than none....
There's an LED base thingie that's supposed to support another thingie that makes it look pretty when it's lit up. Yeah....my powers of description are sadly lacking aren't they! This thing was purchased when I bought the second 'thingie', not realizing that said second 'thingie' came with one in the box. There's a little rotary cutter that came with a bigger one. I've never used it and so it's being let go. And...the jar of coconut oil....another misguided purchase on my part. I had heard it was good cream for your skin so thought I would try it. Well, over the summer it entirely melted and when it went back to normal when the weather cooled it ended up lumpy and the lumps refuse to blend into my skin. Yuck. So...buh bye to that one too!! Only three things this week - bringing the total to 40 items.
Instead of a quote today, how about playing a little game? Mine is Pompom Pointysocks....
Great game...I'm Bootsie Jollytoes! Go figure. Love that gorgeous arrangement. Sometimes I miss working at the flowershop
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along! I thought it would be great fun to see everyone's AKA.
DeleteJust gorgeous flower arrangement--how wonderful to receive!!
ReplyDeleteYour "Making Space" is really working so well. I am going to begin doing that too; There is so much junk around here that i don't use--some of it my Mother's still...Time to make more room...;)))
hugs Julierose aka "Patches Merrybottom?"
I rather fell down on the Making Space job this week - ran out of time to do much digging around for things. Love your 'name'!
DeleteBeautiful floral arrangement! Lucky you. I have opened all the links to wander about later. Thanks bunches.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely beautiful - two of my absolutele favourite flowers too. Glad you enjoyed the links!
DeleteFiggy Snowridge is very glad to see your flowers. Always a lovely gift.
ReplyDeleteYour 'name' made me smile!
DeleteMmm...Chestnut Winterfluff. =) How lovely are your flowers. They will cheer up a cold winter's day.
ReplyDeleteThis is fun - thanks for playing along! And yes the flowers are wonderful - I smile every time I walk by them.
DeleteI like my name too! Cinnamon Snowballs! Tee hee!
ReplyDeleteLove the embroidery link!

It's such fun to see all the great names everyone has...thanks for playing!
DeleteTee hee! I love that I'm Pompom Whiskerson! Beautiful flowers! Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteYou and I share the same first name!
DeleteBeautiful flowers
ReplyDeleteSelecting my own name...Blizzard Brandysnap sounds lovely. :)
Nice name! Thanks for playing along.
DeleteOh my, I use my little rotary ALL the time in place of the old razor blade I use to use to rip seams. While I hold the seams apart with fingers of both hands, the rotary is held somewhat like a pencil. Remember I use clothing in quilts.
ReplyDeleteHmmm - I can see the possibilities! But (key word, that!) would I ever actually remember to DO that when I already have two seam rippers ....that's the question!
DeleteWow! There's a lot more work done since I last saw your Barn. The ground has altered. Interesting stitching- and the walls and roof have also changed. I like the colour added to the small window and the clouds are perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun game. I find I'm Lightning Pointysocks. Great names for everyone. Gorgeous flowers. Enjoy them.
There's a little progress pretty much every day so it's changing fast now.
DeleteLove your 'name'! Glad to see so many people playing along....something fun to take our minds off all the worry around us.
Your flowers are gorgeous!!! Lucky you! And yes... anything thingies discarded are better than no thingies discarded.
ReplyDeleteYes, we do feel lucky! And getting rid of thingies, no matter the number, is a step in the right direction, provided no more thingies take their place!
DeleteBeautiful orchids in that arrangement. What a thoughtful gift. I've downloaded that snowflake for the future. And I love that Pinterest page. Lichen, moss, and such always intrigue me.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you in being fascinated by lichen and moss - one of the things I'm hoping to learn to recreate in fabric at some point. And yes, those orchids are stunning!
