Something fun!!

This seems to be the week for online parties and that's a good thing because what I'm working on isn't ready to be shown and I got nuttin' to show you!!

Many of you will remember that in the spring I took part in the wonderful 'Tea Cup & Mug Exchange' organized (and more than capably run!!) by the marvelous Stephanie of 'The Enchanting Rose'.  I had seen references to the swap around the internet and waffled about signing on.  I finally did and I had SO much FUN!!!!  Up until this point Stephanie has been doing this twice a year and I simply cannot imagine the headaches she goes through trying to organize and keep track of everybody.  She very wisely has opted to only run the swap on a yearly basis from now on.  This morning her blog post announcing sign-ups went live and I very quickly hopped on board.

Today your quote is from an anonymous source but I think it is a fitting one considering the horrible things that are happening around the world...."You have not lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you"

Please go and do something!

  1. Stephanie's teacup/mug exchanges are always fun. More fun links, thank you. Another wonderful quote. A very timely thought in today's world and all the disasters that are happening, I should think.

  4. Enjoy your Tea Cup & Mug exchange - I loved it so much last time, but it really was a headache for my partner getting stuff into Thailand I thought I couldn't put anyone to that trouble again so I will join in virtually from afar this time!

And I adore the in cushion idea using the wool scraps that way ... might try and make a skeleton one in time for Halloween lol

  7. Hi! So much good stuff in this post, but my favorite(s) have to be all the ideas for wooden spools! Sorry I'm so late in commenting, but we were on vacation for a week (and then inundated with laundry, housework, etc)

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
