Another finished project

I spend most of my evenings with either knitting needles or crochet hooks in hand and this is the result of my latest efforts...

The colour here is not quite the same - the yarn is a lovely soft grey.

The sweater pattern is "Eyelet Stripe Jacket" designed by Bonnie Franz and comes from a book called "60 Quick Knit Baby Essentials".  The hat came from HERE, but I changed it somewhat to include the pattern stitch from the sweater so it would look like a set.

- There's a really cute pincushion pattern HERE - this one I'll be keeping on hand for future reference.

- For those of you who like tea (and especially the flavoured ones) and also like handmade soaps, perhaps you might find THIS interesting.

Today your quote is from 'anonymous'..."A strong friendship doesn't need daily conversation or being together.  As long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends never part"

  1. Beautiful baby sweater and hat. Your little Grand will be dapperly dressed.

  2. That little outfit is adorable! Excellent knitting, my friend :)
And I saved the pincushion pattern, because you never know...someday I may sew something?

  3. Oh Mary Anne, how clever you are. This jacket is gorgeous! What a pretty baby item. Special!!

  4. What a pretty set. Lovely colour and the pattern is sweet. I followed your link to the pin cushion, it is sweet, isn't it.

  5. Great quote. What a lovely little sweater set. I love your header photo. Lots of things to look at.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
