white cloth...just for Karen...
The pink striped 'bit' is from a new tea towel
that, I think, belonged to my grandmother.
The embroidered flowers mid-bottom
were done by my maternal grandmother.

You know I love the white pieces. I even have a bag full of them just waiting for inspiration to strike!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for keeping us up to date on your stitching adventures. Will Karen boot you out for that pink stripy bit??
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is beautiful , I like the idea of stitching on the vintage linens too.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have stitching by your grandmother for your new wrapping cloth! Stitching old memories into new ones.
ReplyDeleteLove the fact that you are using bits from your grandmothers in your white piece:)
ReplyDeleteOh I'm loving this already and it will be so special with something from you grandmother included too.
ReplyDeleteWould you believe we are just about to purchase a slow cooker so now I know where to come for recipes!
Thank you dear friend for all of your so kind comments about Andrea all along the way. Today we spread her ashes on our property near the creek. It was so special! The final step in saying "goodbye".
Hugs,
Suzy
