Today I will begin a short series of posts (which may, or may not, be interrupted with other things as I go along) showing you what I've been spending my evenings doing over the past while. These knitted (and felted) bags are destined to be gifts - most probably for Christmas.
Here is bag # 1, which is probably my favourite colour combination of the ones I've done to date...
The pattern is the 'Southwest Style Bag' from a Patons booklet called 'Fabulous Felting'. I made a few changes, namely by replacing some of the bobbles with beads - I found doing bobbles to be difficult with arthritic fingers.
This is gorgeous. Lucky is the person who receives it.
ReplyDeletethatsa gonna be a YUMTH bag when feltied :)
ReplyDeleteOh gosh thats a striking pattern. Love the beads, are they knitted in before felting or added later?
ReplyDeleteVery cool and stylish! Somebody's gonna be happy!
ReplyDeletegorgeous bag..really!
ReplyDeleteFabulous bag MA and I love the colours.
ReplyDeletebeautiful....pray tell, how does a person get on your Christmas list?
ReplyDeleteLove this! The colors are gorgeous and I love the beads you added. Thanks for your comment this morning. My husband tells me that I always come up with another idea before we even finish the one we are working on. LOL He is so good to do anything I ask...he likes it as much as I do. I am blessed.
