Of course you knew it wouldn't be long before I started on another landscape although why I do is rather silly in the grand scheme of things. They are simply piling up and I sometimes wonder what our kids will do with them when I'm no longer here. Oh well, it's going to be their problem! In the meantime I love making them so see no reason to quit now. The photo I'm using for inspiration is this one...

I have a thought for how to include the 'Him and Me' old couple in the scene. Will it work? Time will tell!!
btw - if you're interested in the pieces I have available for sale, feel free to check the 'Landscapes For Sale' section in my sidebar.
- I really need to test THIS method out on my cutting mat.
- Have a peek at what THIS artist does!
- And THIS one too!!!
- THIS is one of my awww-worthy things.

Stellar choice!
ReplyDeleteOf course - I have the best photographer on call!
DeleteMaking for the joy of making is the best way to work;))) So many things to worry about these days--that if something gives you joy it is to be cherished,, hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteMy sentiment exactly!
DeleteLove this! It is so important to find joy in every day, it really helps to balance the negativity around us! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI do find joy in creating my landscapes, for sure!
DeleteIf you love doing them, nothing else matters.
ReplyDeleteI definitely won't care what happens to them when I'm gone, that's for sure.
DeleteNo one in my family wants any more quilts but I keep making them anyway. I don't care. It won't be my problem when I'm gone! LOL! Every few years I send out a message to friends and family with a list of what's available and pass on whatever someone wants. Everything else goes back in the finished projects closet.
ReplyDeleteThat's my feeling exactly - I have fun with what I do and while I'm able, I plan to keep making them.
DeleteInteresting story. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThank you for the visit and the comment.
DeleteOh neat, so that's where the idea started in your mind, interesting........
ReplyDeleteI often use Dale's photographs as inspiration and I'm so blessed that he is always okay with it.
