Alas and alack....

I'm sorry to say there hasn't been a whole lot on the creative front happening here at Chez Magpie over the past couple of days.  It's been too hot to do much of anything, so you know what that means, don't you....

- There are lots of great ideas HERE for using denim seams.

- THESE would be a cute addition to your fall decor.

- If you happen to like owls, have a scroll through THESE

- THIS is an interesting bag that might be fun to make.

- THIS guy made me laugh (sorry it's a paid pattern though)

Today's quote is from Marianne Williamson..."Hate has talked so loudly for so long.  Greed has talked so loudly for so long.  Liars have talked so loudly for so long.  Love has got to stop whispering"

  1. Good ideas about reusing the tough bits cut out of denim. It seems a pity to toss them.

    1. When I think about all the seams and waistbands I chucked out when I was making the denim jackets, I shudder. Wish I had seen that site back then!

  4. Hello MA: So sorry you cannot craft when it is warm, I hope and pray that the fires are nowhere near you. Thank-you fore the links, love looking at them.

    1. I can craft in the heat because it doesn't bother me all that much. It's been a week of social 'things' so that hasn't left me a whole lot of time. The major fires aren't near where we live but there are several smaller ones not too far from us.

    1. I don't sew much with denim any more but if/when I do take apart a pair of jeans I will keep those ideas in mind.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
